Dear Onur:
Regrettably, I don't know the answer to either of your questions. While we do not anticipate that we will have difficulties exporting the M400, it is too early to determine this for a fact. Once we have a certified production aircraft ready to export we will have to go through the procedure in order to determine the outcome.
As for a license to operate, I assume that the JAA or CAA is the governing agency which regulates pilot certification. Here in the states the FAA has established the criteria for a Powered Lift aircraft, but has ruled that a type-specific certification is required, meaning that a qualified pilot will have to be checked out in the specific type of aircraft for which they are requesting a license to operate. In our case, it will require a fully operational M400 and a qualified instructor to make that determination, and since neither are available at this time it is not possible to determine at this time. I assume there is a similar process in Turkey.
Our previous projections were a bit optimistic. We believe certification will not be achieved in the US until 2010 at the earliest.
